Jayne Hrdlicka

Jayne Hrdlicka joined our Board of Directors in July 2020 and serves on our Safety Committee and Governance and Nominating Committee.

Hrdlicka is a globally recognized executive with over 20 years of experience leading top international businesses in the aviation, consumer and industrial sectors. She served as CEO of Virgin Australia between 2020 and 2024 and was previously the CEO of New Zealand's a2 Milk Company, where she grew its profit by 75 percent and increased market value by AUD 5 billion before her departure in 2019.

Before her role at a2 Milk Company, Hrdlicka held various leadership roles at Qantas Group for nearly a decade, including CEO of its low-cost subsidiary Jetstar Group. During her oversight, Jetstar nearly doubled its profits and reported revenue growth of over $2 billion. Hrdlicka also spearheaded the strategic re-design of Qantas Airways' loyalty group, Qantas Loyalty and Digital Ventures, and served as its CEO until 2018.

Hrdlicka holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration from Colorado College and an MBA from Dartmouth College. She is currently the chairman of the board for Tennis Australia.
