Mark D. Schneider was appointed to our Board of Directors in February 2022. Schneider, an accomplished litigator in employment and labor law, is the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) designee to the Board of Directors.
Throughout his 30-year career, Schneider has specialized in providing regulatory counsel to highly regulated organizations, including labor unions, political action agencies and telecommunications companies. He previously served as general counsel for the IAM and associate general counsel of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU). Before that, he was a partner at the law firm Jenner & Block, with a focus on appellate, trial and regulatory work related to communications, media, constitutional and Supreme Court practice.
Schneider teaches law at the New York University School of Law and holds a bachelor’s in English literature from Swarthmore College, a master’s in English literature from Oxford University and a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School.
