Beau Tatsumura

Vice President – Maintenance & Engineering

Beau Tatsumura is the vice president - maintenance and engineering, leading Hawaiian’s operations associated with the performance, quality and reliability of its aircraft fleet. 

Tatsumura brings more than 20 years of airline maintenance experience to Hawaiian Airlines. Prior to joining the company in 2014, he served as senior director maintenance and engineering at Aeko Kula, Inc. where he oversaw the day-to-day operations and overall safety for Aloha Air Cargo. He also spent 18 years at Aloha Airlines where he held numerous aircraft maintenance management and leadership positions. 

Born in Honolulu and raised in Kāne‘ohe, Tatsumura earned a master's in aeronautics and a bachelor’s in professional aeronautics, with a minor in safety, from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He later served in the 100th Battalion 442D Infantry Regiment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
