HONOLULU – May 14, 2012 - Hawaiian Airlines was once again the nation’s most reliable carrier at keeping travelers on schedule according to the Air Travel Consumer Report for March just released by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT).
The DOT report shows that Hawaiian’s flights arrived on time at a rate of 92.5 percent throughout the month to secure the industry’s best on-time performance.
Hawaiian is the largest provider of air service to Hawaii from the Western U.S. with daily nonstop flights from 10 gateway cities on Airbus A330-200 and Boeing 767-300 aircraft, making it the only carrier to use wide-body, twin-aisle aircraft for all transpacific flights.
Hawaii’s largest and longest-serving carrier is also the leading provider of air service between the islands of Hawaii.
