HONOLULU – September 01, 2011 - Starting in the New Year, Hawaiian Airlines will introduce the travel convenience of nonstop service year-round to “the Magic Isle” of Maui from Oakland, with four flights offered weekly.
“We’re bringing East Bay travelers a vacation-friendly flight schedule to enjoy their stay on beautiful Maui along with the best aircraft and inflight service for this route,” said Glenn Taniguchi, Hawaiian’s senior vice president of marketing and sales. “Travelers planning a winter getaway will appreciate the special low fares we are offering to welcome our new Oakland flights to Maui.”
Oakland – Maui Schedule
Starting Wednesday, January 11, 2012, Hawaiian Flight 24 will depart Maui’s Kahului Airport on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 1:25 p.m. and arrive at Oakland International Airport at 8:25 p.m. Return Flight 23 will depart Oakland on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 8:10 a.m. and arrive at Maui at 11:40 a.m.
Special Introductory Fares
To celebrate its new Oakland – Maui service, Hawaiian is offering a special introductory roundtrip fare of $298.40 (plus applicable fees) for travel between January 11 and March 14, 2012. Tickets must be purchased by September 14, 2011.
Convenient Kona Connection
The new flight also gives Bay Area travelers more easy connections to Kona on Hawaii Island. In conjunction with its special introductory fare, Hawaiian is offering travelers bound for Kona the convenience and cost-saving option of flying to Kona via Maui at no extra charge.
Hawaiian also offers convenient flight connections from Maui to Honolulu, Lihue, Kauai, and Hilo on Hawaii Island at regular rates.
