Hawaiian Adds Holiday Flights to Honolulu – Pago Pago Service

HONOLULU – Sep. 30, 2008 - Hawaiian Airlines announced today that four extra flights have been added during the holidays to its regularly scheduled service between Honolulu and Pago Pago, American Samoa, in anticipation of increased passenger traffic.

“We know how important the holiday season is for gatherings between families in American Samoa and Hawaii and are committed to providing extra flights to accommodate higher demand,” said Keoni Wagner, Hawaiian’s vice president of public affairs.

Hawaiian is adding the extra flights for the following four days – Friday, December 19; Tuesday, December 23; Tuesday, December 30; and Friday, January 2. On those days, Hawaiian’s Flight 1465 will depart Honolulu at 5:05 p.m. and arrive in Pago Pago at 9:30 p.m. Return Flight 1466 will depart Pago Pago that same evening at 11:20 p.m. and arrive in Honolulu the following morning at 5:30 a.m.

These flights are in addition to the twice-weekly service that Hawaiian provides between Honolulu and Pago Pago on Sundays and Thursdays.
