Hawaiian Airlines® Visa® cardholders and HawaiianMiles® members in California can earn dining rewards at thousands of MOGL’s partner restaurants
HONOLULU and SAN DIEGO – Hawaiian Airlines, Hawai'i’s biggest and longest-serving airline and MOGL, the fastest-growing restaurant loyalty program on the U.S. West Coast, announced a new partnership to reward its frequent flyer members with cash-back for dining out at their favorite restaurants, while donating meals to people in need.
Starting today, Hawaiian Airlines’ HawaiianMiles Frequent Flyer members will receive a special invitation to join MOGL online via hawaiianairlines.mogl.com and will begin earning 10 percent cash-back on every bill when they dine at any of MOGL’s thousands of partner restaurants across California. That cash-back will automatically be converted into miles each month to use on future Hawaiian Airlines flights, at a rate of 40 HawaiianMiles for every $1 earned in cash back at MOGL restaurants. The accrued miles will appear in HawaiianMiles members’ accounts by the 15th of each month.
Further, all Hawaiian Airlines® Visa® cardholders will also begin seamlessly accumulating miles (40 miles per $1 cash-back) plus a special “Hawaiian Airlines Visa® Bonus” of 100 miles per month when that card has been used at any restaurants on MOGL.
As a limited offer, any Hawaiian Airlines HawaiianMiles member or Hawaiian Airlines® Visa® cardholder who dines out at a restaurant on MOGL (using their registered debit or credit card) from May 20 – June 30, 2013 will also earn double miles on every transaction (80 HawaiianMiles per $1 cash-back).
"Hawaii is a dream destination for anyone – and teaming up with Hawaiian Airlines instantly adds an incredible new perk for MOGL members and Hawaiian Airlines' guests," said Jon Carder, CEO and Co-Founder of MOGL. "In addition to the positive impact they will continue to generate through our Meal for a Meal program, they now have the ultimate opportunity to rack up miles every time they eat out at restaurants on MOGL, so they can start taking more vacations to paradise! I don't think it can get much better than that!"
With a heavy concentration of Hawaiian Airlines HawaiianMiles Members and Hawaiian Airlines® Visa® cardholders based in California alone, MOGL's seamless loyalty platform will allow those individuals to quickly accumulate miles for future trips to/from Hawaii by dining out at the thousands of restaurants on MOGL in San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, Ventura County and San Francisco.
For current MOGL members, the partnership launches an enticing new way for them to accumulate miles and earn tickets for the ultimate Hawaii vacation. As they continue to earn 10 percent cash-back on every bill, they now have the option to exchange that cash for HawaiianMiles, which can be used on future trips. Members simply go to MOGL’s website and add their HawaiianMiles account number in their settings, under payment preferences.
“We’re constantly searching for additional earning opportunities for our HawaiianMiles members, and we’re particularly excited to announce this new partnership with MOGL,” said Vicki Nakata, Hawaiian Airlines Managing Director of Partnerships & Travel Products. “MOGL’s extensive dining network in California now makes it easy for our members there to earn miles all year long toward their next trip on Hawaiian Airlines.”
Hawaiian Airlines’ frequent flyer program, HawaiianMiles, is a free membership. HawaiianMiles members receive exclusive access to low unadvertised fares and special promotions. Not only can members earn miles on each flight they take on Hawaiian Airlines, they can also earn miles with our Hawaiian Airlines Visa card, hotel and car partners, partner airlines, and merchant in-store and online partners. It’s easy to redeem HawaiianMiles for flights on Hawaiian Airlines with no blackout dates or round-trip requirements. Members can also redeem HawaiianMiles for flights on our partner airlines and various gift certificates.
All current, as well as new MOGL members gained through this partnership will also continue to participate and support MOGL’s Meal for a Meal program, which donates a meal to Feeding America whenever $20, or more, is spent at a restaurant on MOGL in a single transaction (www.mogl.com/feeding-america). Additionally, MOGL’s monthly jackpot cash prizes will continue to be awarded to the top three spenders at each restaurant, with the new option to convert those dollars into HawaiianMiles ($1 = 40 miles).
