Hawaiian Airlines Announces Ontario, California, Flight Schedule, Fares

Introductory $399 Airfare Must be Purchased by April 30


HONOLULU, April 15, 2002 -- Hawaiian Airlines today announced the flight schedule for its new daily nonstop service between Ontario, California, and Honolulu, which begins June 7, 2002, as well as a special introductory roundtrip airfare starting at $399.

Hawaiian will offer the only daily nonstop service between Ontario and Hawaii.

Starting June 7, Flight 33 will depart Ontario International Airport daily at 10:30 a.m. and arrive at Honolulu International Airport at 1:00 p.m. The return Flight 34 will depart Honolulu at 2:35 p.m. and arrive in Ontario at 10:50 p.m.

Hawaiian's special introductory airfares are for travel between the two cities from June 7 through December 14, 2002. Roundtrip airfares start at $399 when traveling from Monday through Thursday, and $439 for flights Friday through Sunday. Tickets must be purchased by April 30, 2002, to take advantage of these special rates.

The special sale prices include all taxes, except Passenger Facility Charges of $3.00-$4.50 per departure, a $3.00 Federal Excise Tax imposed on each flight segment and the September 11 security fee of $2.50 per enplanement (maximum four charges on a roundtrip itinerary).

In addition, reservations must be confirmed prior to travel, with tickets issued 48 hours after reservations are confirmed. Ticketed fares are non-refundable and non-transferable.
