Hawaiian Airlines Appoints Avi Mannis Vice President – Revenue Management and Schedule Planning

HONOLULU – May 23, 2008 - Hawaiian Airlines today announced the appointment of Avi Mannis as vice president of revenue management and schedule planning.

Mannis is responsible for managing seat inventory, planning flight schedules and establishing fare prices for the approximately 185 transpacific and interisland flights that Hawaiian offers daily. He reports to Glenn Taniguchi, senior vice president of sales and marketing.

“Avi has a strong background in taking on diverse, challenging projects and successfully finding ways to generate increased revenue, a quality that makes him perfectly suited for his new leadership role at Hawaiian,” said Taniguchi.

Mannis joined Hawaiian in July 2007 as senior director of transformation and in that capacity led initiatives related to process improvement, revenue generation, and corporate strategy.

Before joining Hawaiian, Mannis was a principal at The Boston Consulting Group in New York City and Paris, France. He consulted on new market opportunities, revenue growth, and cost reduction for global financial services and technology companies. Prior to that, he served as assistant vice president at Christie's Auction House in New York City, where he worked in operations, budgeting, and financial reporting.

A Kailua resident, Mannis is a graduate of Brown University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in old world archaeology and art. He went on to earn his Masters in Business Administration degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business.
