Hawaiian Airlines Appoints Barbara Falvey

Senior Vice President – People Services Group

HONOLULU –- Hawaiian Airlines announced today the appointment of Barbara Falvey to the position of senior vice president – people services group.

Falvey has overall responsibility for the direction and administration of Hawaiian Airlines' personnel programs, including benefits, hiring, employment contracts and other human resources activities. She also will oversee the company's general training programs, employee incentive program and consumer affairs department.

Falvey joined Hawaiian on July 11. She spent the past 21 years in human resources for the gaming industry in Nevada, and was most recently corporate vice president of human resources for Ameristar Casinos, Inc., in Las Vegas.

Falvey graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She later earned a Masters of Science degree in organizational development at Pepperdine University.
