Hawaiian Airlines Appoints Paul Astrom to Director – Marketing Analytics and Strategy

HONOLULU – Hawaiian Airlines has announced the appointment of Paul Astrom to the position of director – marketing analytics and strategy. In this role, he is responsible for building and leading the marketing analytics team to improve the performance of sales channels and generate customer insights that enhance the guest experience.

“We are focused on using data and analytics to create better, more engaging experiences in all of the channels through which we serve our customers,” said Avi Mannis, senior vice president of marketing for Hawaiian Airlines. “Paul’s extensive background in marketing and digital analytics will help us stay ahead of our customers’ evolving needs and the changing competitive environment.”

Prior to joining Hawaiian, Astrom’s career spanned online media publishing, e-commerce, automotive and digital marketing. He spent eight years with Kelley Blue Book, where he started as a web analyst before moving up to director – integrated digital analytics. Previously, he held positions in sales and marketing at Sony Ericsson in Stockholm and business analytics at the online career recruitment company, fish4 Trading Ltd., in London.

Astrom holds an MBA in Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Stockholm University School of Business in Sweden. He also served as Company Artillery Officer at IB1 Kungsängen, Sweden.
