Hawaiian Airlines Extends $39 Interisland Fare Sale to April 30

HONOLULU – Apr. 14, 2006 - Hawaiian Airlines today announced an extension of its interisland fare sale to Sunday, April 30. Special low fares starting at $39 are being offered for all interisland flights between Honolulu and Lihue, Kahului, Hilo and Kona, subject to seat availability, for travel from June 9 through September 30, 2006.

“We have the best aircraft and best service to go along with the best fares for flying between the islands,” said Mark Dunkerley, Hawaiian's president and CEO.

In 2005, Hawaiian was the nation's #1 airline for on-time performance, fewest flight cancellations and best baggage handling, according to the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). This year, Hawaii's biggest and longest-serving airline has maintained its #1 ranking in all three categories for January and February. DOT will report March's results next month.

HawaiianMiles members will continue to earn frequent flyer miles on all flights. In addition, Hawaiian announced yesterday that HawaiianMiles members can earn up to $100 in discounts on flights to the nine mainland U.S. cities the airline serves by flying interisland on Hawaiian between now and September 30, 2006.

Tickets are being offered on all of Hawaiian's interisland flights and can be booked and purchased online at HawaiianAirlines.com, or by calling Hawaiian's reservations department at the toll-free number of 1-800-367-5320, or from Oahu at 838-1555.
