Hawaiian Airlines Increases Hilo, Kona Service

HONOLULU - In response to increased customer demand, Hawaiian Airlines is adding new roundtrip flights to its scheduled daily service to Hilo and Kona from Honolulu, effective January 3.

The new mid-day flights offer additional schedule options for travel between the Big Island and Oahu, and more convenient Honolulu connections with transpacific flights to and from the U.S. mainland.

New Kona flights: Hawaiian Flight 138 will depart Honolulu International Airport daily at 11:10 a.m. and arrive at Kona International Airport at 11:53 a.m. The return Flight 137 will depart Kona daily at 12:23 p.m. and arrive at Honolulu at 1:03 p.m.

New Hilo flights: Hawaiian Flight 260 will depart Honolulu daily at 2:10 p.m. and arrive at Hilo at 3:01 p.m. The return Flight 263 will depart Hilo daily at 3:30 p.m. and arrive at Honolulu at 4:17 p.m.

The new flights bring to 11 the number of daily flights Hawaiian offers to and from Kona, and 9 to and from Hilo.
