Hawaiian Airlines Reports April Traffic Statistics

HONOLULU, May 15, 2001 -- In system-wide service during April 2001, Hawaiian Airlines recorded Revenue Passenger Miles (RPMs) of 472,058,000, a decrease of 3.8 percent from 490,809,000 RPMs reported for the same month in 2000.

Available Seat Miles (ASMs) in April 2001 were 579,414,000, a decrease of 1.7 percent from 589,228,000 ASMs recorded in April 2000.

System-wide Load Factor (LF) in April 2001 was 81.5 percent, a decrease of 1.8 points from 83.3 percent in April 2000.

Hawaiian carried 498,051 passengers in April 2001, a decrease of 6.9 percent from 534,922 passengers reported for April 2000.
