HONOLULU, July 12, 2000 -- In systemwide service during June 2000, Hawaiian Airlines recorded Revenue Passenger Miles (RPMs) of 527,788,000, an increase of 23.7 percent from 426,768,000 RPMs reported for the same month in 1999.
Available Seat Miles (ASMs) in June 2000 were 623,881,000, an increase of 20.4 percent from 518,081,000 ASMs recorded in June 1999.
Systemwide Load Factor (LF) in June 2000 was 84.6 percent, an increase of 2.2 points from 82.4 percent in June 1999.
Hawaiian carried 564,151 passengers in June 2000, an increase of 15.5 percent from 488,508 passengers reported for June 1999.
Second Quarter:
During the second quarter of 2000, Hawaiian Airlines recorded RPMs of 1,490,379,000, an increase of 23.3 percent from 1,208,688,000 RPMs reported for the same quarter in 1999.
Available Seat Miles (ASMs) during the second quarter were 1,797,584,000, an increase of 15.3 percent from 1,558,678,000 ASMs recorded during the second quarter of 1999.
Systemwide Load Factor (LF) during the 2000 second quarter was 82.9 percent, an increase of 5.4 points from 77.5 percent during the same period in 1999.
Hawaiian carried 1,621,739 passengers during the second quarter of 2000, an increase of 15.9 percent from 1,398,854 passengers reported for the second quarter of 1999.
Year-to-date:
For the first six months of 2000, Hawaiian Airlines recorded RPMs of 2,767,975,000, an increase of 20.4 percent from 2,299,450,000 RPMs reported for the same period in 1999.
Available Seat Miles (ASMs) through June in 2000 were 3,523,917,000, an increase of 17.0 percent from 3,012,798,000 ASMs recorded during the same period in 1999.
Systemwide Load Factor (LF) during the first six months of 2000 was 78.5 percent, an increase of 2.2 points from 76.3 percent during the same period in 1999.
Hawaiian carried 3,125,074 passengers during the first six months of 2000, an increase of 13.1 percent from 2,763,664 passengers reported for the same period in 1999.
