Hawaiian Airlines Reports March and First Quarter 2018 Traffic Statistics

HONOLULU, April 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Hawaiian Airlines, Inc., a subsidiary of Hawaiian Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: HA) ("Hawaiian"), today announced its system-wide traffic statistics for the month and quarter ended March 31, 2018.

Hawaiian welcomed more than 1 million guests in March 2018, a record for the month of March and an increase of 8.0% over the same period last year.  Total traffic (revenue passenger miles) increased 8.6% on an increase of 6.7% in capacity (available seat miles).  Load factor increased 1.5 points to 86.5%.

For the first quarter ended March 31, 2018, Hawaiian welcomed nearly 2.9 million guests, a record for the first quarter and an increase of 6.9% over the same period last year.  Total traffic increased 6.1% on an increase of 4.6% in capacity.  Load factor increased 1.2 points to 85.2%.
