HONOLULU, June 14, 2000 -- In systemwide service during May 2000, Hawaiian Airlines recorded Revenue Passenger Miles (RPMs) of 471,782,000, an increase of 22.6 percent from 384,939,000 RPMs reported for the same month in 1999.
Available Seat Miles (ASMs) in May 2000 were 584,474,000, an increase of 11.3 percent from 525,315,000 ASMs recorded in May 1999.
Systemwide Load Factor (LF) in May 2000 was 80.7 percent, an increase of 7.4 points from 73.3 percent in May 1999. Hawaiian carried 522,666 passengers in May 2000, an increase of 15.4 percent from 452,728 passengers reported for May 1999.

For the first five months of 2000, Hawaiian Airlines recorded RPMs of 2,240,187,000, an increase of 19.6 percent from 1,872,682,000 RPMs reported for the same period in 1999.
Available Seat Miles (ASMs) through May in 2000 were 2,900,036,000, an increase of 16.2 percent from 2,494,717,000 ASMs recorded during the same period in 1999.
Systemwide Load Factor (LF) during the first five months of 2000 was 77.2 percent, an increase of 2.1 points from 75.1 percent during the same period in 1999.
Hawaiian carried 2,560,923 passengers during the first five months of 2000, an increase of 12.6 percent from 2,275,156 passengers reported for the same period in 1999.
