WAILUKU, MAUI – Oct. 05, 2010 - Hawaiian Airlines has launched its first-ever nonstop flights between Maui and Las Vegas, bringing new convenience to a favorite getaway for island residents.
Hawaiian is now serving the Maui-Las Vegas route twice weekly with its twin-aisle, wide-body Boeing 767-300 aircraft seating up to 264 passengers, with 18 seats in First Class and the remainder in Coach Class. The new service adds 2,000 seats per month to the route.
Hawaiian initiated the new service in response to demand from Maui residents and designed the flight schedule for their convenience, with departure and arrival times that allow them to make the most of their stay in Las Vegas.
Flight #32 departs Maui’s Kahului Airport on Mondays and Thursdays at 8:00 a.m. and arrives at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas at 4:35 p.m., giving island residents enough time to enjoy a full evening in Las Vegas their first day.
Flight #31 departs Las Vegas on Sundays and Wednesdays at 6:25 p.m. and arrives on Maui at 9:25 p.m., allowing residents to enjoy a full final vacation day in Las Vegas before arriving home for a good night’s sleep.
(The Las Vegas departure and arrival times will be approximately one hour earlier when Daylight Saving Time ends next month.)
