Hawaiian Holdings Files Extension for Second Quarter Financial Report

HONOLULU –- Hawaiian Holdings, Inc., (AMEX and PCX: HA) parent company of Hawaiian Airlines, has filed for an extension to submit its Form 10-Q with the Securities and Exchange Commission to Monday, August 15.

Hawaiian Airlines emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on June 2, 2005.

The Form 10-Q will cover the second quarter report ending June 30, 2005, and contain the consolidated results of Hawaiian Holdings and Hawaiian Airlines for the period of June 2, 2005 through June 30, 2005. Because the consolidation involves a complex accounting and valuation process, Hawaiian Holdings requested the extra time to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the quarterly report.
