Hawaiian Increasing Transpacific Service this Summer

HONOLULU – Feb. 26, 2007 - Fueled by Hawaii's appeal and the continued popularity of its service, Hawaiian Airlines announced that it is adding flights between Honolulu and Los Angeles, Seattle and Pago Pago, American Samoa, this summer.

The new flights are being added in conjunction with Hawaiian's introduction of four additional Boeing 767-300 wide-body aircraft into its transpacific fleet. Hawaiian had the nation's highest load factor at 86.4 percent in 2006.

Los Angeles-Honolulu
For its most popular route, Los Angeles-Honolulu, Hawaiian is increasing to 21 flights per week with the expansion of Flights 3 & 4 from June 22 through August 16.

Flight 3 is scheduled to depart Los Angeles International Airport daily at 10:30 a.m. and arrive at the Honolulu International Airport at 1:00 p.m. Return Flight #4 will depart Honolulu daily at 10:05 p.m. and arrive in Los Angeles the following morning at 6:15 a.m.

Seattle-Honolulu
Starting June 22, Hawaiian is increasing its year-round Seattle-Honolulu service to 14 flights per week with the expansion of Flights 27 & 28 from three flights weekly to daily service. The additional flights further convey the growing interest in Hawaiian's service by Pacific Northwest travelers. This past fall, Hawaiian increased its service between Seattle and Kahului, Maui, from four flights weekly to daily service.

Flight 27 is scheduled to depart Seattle-Tacoma International Airport daily at 8:05 a.m. and arrive in Honolulu at 10:50 a.m. Return Flight 28 will depart Honolulu daily at 12:25 p.m. and arrive in Seattle at 9:00 p.m.

Pago Pago-Honolulu
Hawaiian is adding a third weekly flight every Wednesday between Pago Pago and Honolulu, effective May 30 through August 22. Flight 1465 is scheduled to depart Honolulu on Wednesday at 7:45 a.m. and arrive in Pago Pago at 12:10 p.m. Return Flight 1466 will depart Pago Pago on Wednesday at 1:45 p.m. and arrive in Honolulu at 7:55 p.m. Hawaiian also provides roundtrip flights every Sunday and Thursday between the two destinations.
