Hawaiian Leads Industry in Punctuality, Fewest Cancellations in October

HONOLULU – December 07, 2010 - Hawaiian Airlines led the nation’s carriers in punctuality and fewest flight cancellations in October, as reported today by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) with the release of its monthly

Air Travel Consumer Report.

 

Hawaiian completed the month of October as the nation’s top-ranked airline for on-time performance, with 95.4 percent of its flights arriving on schedule.

 

In addition, Hawaiian was nearly perfect during October in achieving the industry’s #1 ranking for fewest cancelled flights, with only one cancellation out of 5,529 total flights, or less than 0.1 percent.

 

Hawaiian Airlines is the largest provider of air service to Hawaii from the Western U.S., as well as the leading carrier for interisland service between the islands of Hawaii.
