Hawaiian Sets June 15 Deadline for Interisland Paper Coupons

HONOLULU –- Continuing its transformation to the convenience of electronic ticketing, Web Check-In, and a hassle-free travel experience for customers, Hawaiian Airlines announced it would stop accepting interisland paper coupons after June 15, 2005.

“This is one more step in offering our customers the speed and convenience of electronic ticketing,” said Keoni Wagner, Hawaiian's vice president of public affairs. “Almost 90 percent of our ticketing is done electronically, and e-ticket holders can use Hawaiian's Web Check-In or Hele On Self Check-In machines to avoid waiting in line at the airport. We know some coupons are still out there and we want to encourage our customers to use them before they expire.”

Any coupon without an expiration date can also be exchanged for a one-way e-ticket. Details are available online at HawaiianAirlines.com/coupons.
