Hawaiian Trustee Asks Court to Disapprove Competing Plan

HONOLULU –- Hawaiian Airlines Trustee Joshua Gotbaum, joined by Hawaiian's parent company Hawaiian Holdings, Inc., has filed a memorandum with the court asking the court to disapprove the reorganization plan proposed by Hawaiian pilot Robert Konop after depositions taken last week of Konop and his “investors” revealed they have no financing.

The court is expected to consider the request after the hearing to confirm the joint plan of reorganization proposed by the Trustee, Ranch Capital and Hawaiian's Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors on March 10 and 11.
