HONOLULU – May 18, 2010 - Hawaiian Airlines’ historic inaugural flights with its new fleet of the future will include two lucky trip winners as part of a new online sweepstakes at
HANewEra.com.
Hawaiian will launch a new era of service with its first Airbus A330-200 flight on June 4, 2010, departing Honolulu to Los Angeles, with the first return flight on the following day, June 5.
On board each inaugural flight will be a sweepstakes winner – one from Hawaii and one from the U.S. mainland. They will be joined by a guest and be among the first to enjoy the comforts and amenities of Hawaiian’s new A330, highlighted by the state-of-the-art interactive, on demand entertainment system with high-resolution LCD touch screen monitor available to each passenger.

The Hawaii winner will receive free roundtrip airfare for two departing from Honolulu on June 4 aboard Hawaiian Flight #2 at 1:15 p.m., with three-nights of free accommodations at the JW Marriott Los Angeles LA Live and return flight from Los Angeles on June 7.
The U.S. mainland winner will receive a free Honolulu vacation package, including roundtrip airfare for two departing from Los Angeles on June 5 aboard Hawaiian Flight #1 at 8:35 a.m., with three nights of free accommodations at the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa and return flight from Honolulu on June 8.

Hawaiian plans to introduce up to 27 new Airbus aircraft into its fleet by the end of this decade. Hawaiian is leasing three A330s that are joining the fleet this year, and has signed a purchase agreement with Airbus to acquire seven A330s (starting in 2011) and six A350XWB-800 (Extra Wide-Body) aircraft (starting in 2017), as well as purchase rights for an additional five A330s and six A350s.
